Uncle Ralph's Surprise 85th Birthday

We had the best time heading to Kentucky to celebrate this awesome man.

Uncle Ralph's daughter's pulled off a wonderful surprise party for him.  The weather and company could not have been any more wonderful.

Legacy

Jeff got himself a new toy for his birthday this year.

We have been enjoying taking Ranger rides.

We rode out to the pond farm to show the kids the lay of the land.

Jeff's family bought this land when he was a small boy- maybe around Abram's age.

They planted acres of trees.

All perfectly lined.  Dad didn't do things half way.

Now look at this legacy.

God gives us beautiful reminders just when we need them.

Sleeping has been tough.  You no longer sleep through the night.

You had your first taste of oats this week.

Mommy wanted to wait until 6 months but you had other plans.

Since you are always grabbing at our cups and spoons we decided to try your first foods.  You really liked the oats.  I plan on making some baby food this month for you to try some other tastes.  Abram was right there.  He couldn't wait to help out.
