My stinkin' dryer went out in the midst of packing for our vacation. I always dreamed of the day Id get a new set wheeled into my laundry room. I was just hoping it wouldn't be so soon. I will tell you we are so blessed though. In the 6 yrs we have been married we have never had to buy a new set. Every home we've bought a home they have been set.
So here is my new babies... Now if they laundry would just do itself. :)
Reality: Mommy is kinda sad about this. This was Ayla's age when I had her sister. I feel like she is missing out on that. Though I am confident we'll have another child in God's timing.
This month is busy as we are going on a long family vacation very soon. We'll be flying to fla with Jeff's parents for an entire week. Im a little anxious about it all. But very excited to get out and enjoy some much needed sunshine and family time. We decided to have a joint bday party for the girls this year. So I am trying to plan most of that before our trip so I am not overwhelmed. Not sure if that's working haha!
Today we went to meet up with Lauren for her birthday since we didn't get to go to the party yesterday. We went to Bloomington and did Build-a-Bear. This was the first time we let the girls do it. I, honestly, wasn't sure if we'd do it or not.
But, I think they like them a little! :) (PS I was a dope and forgot my camera in the car..boo)
Today Ayla got a fever and it dampened our plans. Not that she can control when or when she won't get a fever. That would be cool though, right? We were supposed to go to our cousin's 5th bday party. I was looking forward to getting out of the house and the girls wanted to see Lauren so bad! And, of course, we all wanted cake!
When Ayla started crying when I explained that the fever meant no party I knew I had to reconcile. So we had our own party. We made cupcakes and sang "happy birthday" several times. Why do my kids like that song so much?
No diet today. haha I turned left over cupcakes into cake balls. They will kill me. And I will love it!
I have been married to my best friend for over 7 years. We feel so blessed to have each other and our daughters Ayla & Leah and our son Abram. Just enjoying time with our sweet family! We love life and hope to fill our house with lots of children. I am an RN by profession, but a mommy for life!
