Walt Disney World 2014

We finally made it.  This trip was originally scheduled in October.  When our hearts stopped briefly during the passing of my father in law, Mike, we pushed the trip off.  Knowing we really could not let our kids down we did the fastest planning in just under a month.  We lost all our reservations, fast passes, etc.  It was tricky.  BUT the trip was such a blessing for the kids during this season in life.

Leah, 5 Abram, 2 Ayla, 7

We drove through the night, changed in the parking lot, and checked in ready to start our day.  The weather was a little cool.   But, perfect weather for a pregnant lady walking the miles.
Sharing some of the highlights of our trip...

Abe was awestruck with Mickey

Leah was chosen to be "beast" and dance alone with Belle.  It was so sweet!

Their favorite princess of the trip was Pocahontas.  She spoke softly, sweetly, and kind.  She asked them questions.  The girls were taken by her and I think Abe thought she was beautiful.

He could not WAIT to meet Donald

The Lord knows exactly what we need, when we need it.  This trip needed to be pushed back and utilized to give us time to pause and reflect out of the safety of our home.  It made us enjoy some moments, reflect on the details we think dad would have loved, and snuggle up a little longer.  So thankful for my family and the times we get together.

On to more adventures....
