Camp Seven: Ayla is growing up

My sweet, tender hearted, little lady turned seven May 8.
Not sure how or when it happened but she is growing up.  It happened to be "nerd day" at school so how fun to dress up on your birthday?  Right!?

Surprised my lady with picking her up from school for lunch at the park... and her buddies came too!

i love these girls dearly!

We celebrated that weekend with a small "camping" party. It was a gloomy, wet day so we camped out indoors.  Ate, sang, painted tee shirts & birdhouses, played in tents and when the weather died down we roasted smores!

Looking back on the seven years of your life Ayla I can't believe it has gone so fast.  I remember  you being so little.  You were calm & cautious, just as you are now.  But now with a bit of spunk and a bigger heart.
You love your friends, church, dance, and tumbling.  Your favorite color is blue & purple.  You are finishing your first year of kindergarten- learning to read and becoming a confident learner.
Thank you for being my sweet girl, my listener, my cuddler.
I love you more than words can express.
