Recap!

Is it possible that once I had my third child I was automatically reduced to 20 hr days instead of the normal 24?  Because it sure feels like I used to be a supermom taking photos left and right.  Showered most days.  Exercised (sometimes).

Do.not.get.me.wrong.  I would not change anything in life.  Nothing.  I love my chaos.  I love my kids.  I just want my four hours back.  A Mom could get a lot done in that time, right?  Laundry.  Photos of my children (not on my phone- its not the same).  Blog.  Shower.  Exercise.  Possibly even coffee with a friend.  

But since it doesn't look like I will be getting my precious time back anytime soon.  I will just recap what has happened recently.  Since I last posted we had family time with Christmas in Jan.  Dance travel season kicked off in full swing.  Party Planning.  Valentines Day.  100 Days of School.  And Im sure so much more!

Abram: 10 & 11 months

The last two months of my life seriously seem to have came and went with a sneeze.  Life is beyond our normal busy right now.  Looking back Abram has grown and matured so much recently.  I am so proud and happy with my little man.  Words do not even begin to describe!

These milestone posts on strictly for this mama.  I love looking back on here or in our books to remember what each child was learning, doing, eating, weighing... whatever.  Blogs are awesome.  I wish I could carve out more time.  More time for blogging and taking pictures.  But for now, milestones are taking priority.

Abram: 10 & 11 months

Started to wean nursing around 11 months.  Up until this time he was still nursing every 3-5 hrs.  Even waking up at night.  Since his weight has always been low I kept feeding him at night, most nights.  He easily weaned off of night feeding and down to 4x a day within a week.

Finally, Abe is finding "some" joy in foods.  He is very independent with eating.  It is rare if he wants to be fed from a spoon.  He began eating our meals with us around 10 months.  About 11 months he was eating larger portions.  Lots of new foods recently!  Fave foods: blue berries, freeze dried strawberries, pasta, banana

My first Valentines Day

Jabbering more.  I can make out more conversational moments with him.  Words: Mom, Dad, Da (dance), hello, do (dog), bap (paci), yes

New tricks: shaking head "yes", putting phone to ear and saying "hello", dances ALOT, songbird when musics on, roars like a lion

Currently a little clingy.  Not sure if its a separtion anxiety, but he really really really likes Mommy!  Daddy is obv second best.  He used to be very social and jump into others arms, but seems to be more resistant to that.

So close to walking.  Standing alone (until he figures out he is standing alone).  Likes to wear shoes.  I really think he just knows he can get places fast by crawling.

Planning a first birthday.  :)  Vintage Airplane theme.  Because this year has "flown" by.  1st bdays are strictly to surround Mama with love after realizing her baby is growing.  I am getting very sentimental this time around.

Making the most of our break...

We have been trying to make the most of our break.

Ayla is off of school and Jeff's work shuts down until the new year. 

We have spent a lot of time playing with family, eating good food, and even sneaked in a trip to the Indianapolis Children's Museum.  Which is such a fun place.  All three kids had a blast (and so did mom and dad).  I hope we can always do fun stuff with our kids!

nurses well every 3-4 hrs, trying to give him new solids but he really doesn't love alot of foods

Abram helped set up his own Christmas tree in his room.  He was even a really good boy and left it alone.

Still a social boy but starting to show a bashful side.  He likes to hide his face and smile when others are talking to him.  Mama is by far his fave person ever.  Though dad is a close second.

Merry Christmas 2012

Another Christmas has come and gone....  this year was particularly special.  It was Abram's first and the girls were especially in the spirit.  It made for a great, great time.

We have a couple traditions that I hope we can continue with until our kids are grown and leave the house.  We bake a cake together and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas Eve.

We wake the kiddos up with a video camera in their face and ask their fresh faces questions.

We take a picture of the kids in front of tree in jammies before the chaos ensues.

We take a self timer picture of the whole family after the chaos.

I felt overwhelming blessed.  

Not with the amount of gifts, but with love.

My kids are all at such fun ages.  I can tell they are soaking in so much now and I need to be prepared to be more of what I know they need for their future.  

Sometimes I can't even fathom that God has chosen me to raise these guys.

eating well solids and trying lots of new foods.  he seems to not enjoy certain textures and is particular on what he eats (differs from day to day)  most days oatmeal & cinnamon is a favorite

abram seems to really love music!  he claps right along.

I am finally caught up on posting lil man's milestones!  Phew.  Pat on the back.  He is growing so much lately and am just so proud of all my kiddos and the joys (& struggles) they bring to my daily life.  I really wouldn't change a thing.  No amount of money or things could fill the places they have in my heart.
