Confessions of a Tired Mama

I'm tired.

I feel like I have it all together until someone is hungry or needs to be somewhere on time.

I hear a baby cry even when I'm at Walmart sans children.

When I was just a mother of one I didn't need a baby swing because I never put her down long enough to need it, when I was a mother of two i felt like I was a superwoman, but now that I'm a mother of three the swing is the best idea ever....as well as the boppy. I wish i would have thought to cut a pillow to mold a person so they won't die holding a baby nonstop!

I rarely shower daily. And write "shower " on my to-do list hoping to cross it off.

My son gets called a pretty girl, sweet girl, etc all day from his mama... I keep telling him I will get it right sometime.

I used to exercise all the time. I loved it. Now I love thinking about exercising and possibly what I'd wear to exercise. Scared I mabe chunky forever.

There are days I feel like I'm 20 and days I feel like I'm 80. I'm 28.

Tomorrow I will be married for 7 years. I used to be really good at being romantic for times like this. I am so Glad my hubs knows how much I love him! Because romance is hard right now.

My baby is 5 weeks old. Mixed emotions on that.

Rough week here too. My Dad ripped me a new one for forgetting my stepmothers birthday again (upgrading phones evidently didn't transfer info). I bawled. Started crying that I don't even know what day of the week it is half the time, barely get a chance to take a shower and leaving to go anywhere truly takes my entire day. Took me two days to get a picture printed, framed and sent to her because of everything that kept throwing me back. That was with working my butt off to try to get it done.

You're doing great... hang in there! Just take on what you can and don't let anyone make you feel bad if there's something you just can't do! Laundry alone automatically reinstates supermommy status after you surpass two kids! (((Hugs)))

I was watching 16 & Pregnant last night (guilty pleasure)... it's a train wreck I can't look away from, but anyway all those babies screaming every two hours made me think back and remember how tired you are when they are so little... but then before you know it they are big and you have no idea how it went by so fast... anyway I hope you get to shower today :)

i don't have babies anymore:( but have to agree.. 3 little ones is rough... but it does get better:) they are worth it all! and I know you know that ;) so enjoy a bubble bath during nap time and leave the rest for another day..:) (easier said than done.) but hey, at least the sun is shining, and baby powder works great on greasy hair:)

I am sure that you actually are a supermama, but you're just too tired to realize. Being tired SUCKS. I only have one kid at home, but I have 100+ students, and if I am tired, I just can't deal.
I hope you got a shower and a nap today! xoxo

i remember feeling worthless after Ryker was born and he is just one baby! i remember putting his bouncy seat on the floor in my bathroom so I could stick my head out and give him a few bounces as I took a 2 minute shower.
you are amazing so keep your head up. and i know you don't need me to tell you this, but one look into their precious little faces and all your worries melt away, right?

Oh Court, I can only imagine!! I know you are a nurse and the only thing I can compare to is being a nurse. You know those crazy days where you don't think you can make it and are "drowning". We always make it through the day and sometimes need a little help sometimes. I know you have an awesome hubby to help. Hang in there!!! From what I have heard it does get better....I think;) j/k!
