Life 365: Day 19

Hello, delicious, asparagus. Do you mind if I pretend you are chocolate cake?
This Mama has been on a low carb diet for a little over a week. I don't own a scale, but I know I have dropped a couple lbs. My pants fit nicer. Which is a good thing. However, I still want my chocolate anything, with a side of bread.... please.

I chose this diet for my (obvious) love of anything bread/sugar/flour related. Its pretty serious. I love to bake, I love to eat. I love to eat, I love to cook. Seems like a win-win. Except when I look in the mirror, or at my skinny friends (whom eat anything), or when I can pinch a little more than I should. You know what I mean.
Basically, I am not doing it for the numbers. Like I said, I don't own a scale. I don't care to. In high school I let the "numbers" make me crazy. I want to feel better. I want to feel pretty. We are going to FLA for spring break and I want to be confident in swim wear. I have already resigned to no more bikinis. No one wants to see my "motherhood" marks with a bikini hehe But, I can at least rock a tankini, right! You better say RIGHT.

Courtney- I totally get you with the doing it to feel better part. You can rock whatever swim suit you want. I seriously think you are one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen in my life! I'm jealous of your awesome hair, your flawless skin and your amazing smile!
