Halloween Happenings 2009

Well, as you saw previously we took a few trips on Friday night. But the "real deal" was Saturday. To be honest, this was our first Real trick or treating experience with Ayla. I mean, we always visit the family, but I didn't see the point of going door-to-door with a baby who can't eat candy! Well, this year she totally dug it! I wonder how interesting it will be next year?

My lil cousin, Lauren, is 3 (just a 10 mo older than Ayla). Lauren and her twin brothers (10mo old) came into town for Halloween. They played and danced and sang. Once we got them all dressed and out the door the girls were off... knocking on doors, holding hands, and saying "please" and "thank you" to all who gave treats, Leah lost a shoe, no one complained once- except me who was cold. We even met a witch! ha They were nottt so sure of that one.

Can't wait to spend more time with them. Come home as soon as you can!

Here's a few more from rainy Friday Halloween stops. I just love my life, my girls, my hubby. It was a blast! I have been kinda negative, stuck in a rut, super busy, crazy girl lately. Im just ready to slow down. We all have so much to be appreciative of! I just need to realize life isn't going to slow down for me. I just need to move forward because I am apart of all I do for a reason.

That last pic of Ayla is so sweet. I think she might be praying "Thank you God for all the candy". :)
